Sad Week

Brad and I had a rough week. We had to put down a beloved family member who had fallen ill. So, this blog is dedicated to Miss Caroline.



When we moved into our new house, she loved to sit in the front window. She would keep an eye out for bird and squirrels, and loved to sun herself on bright days. Here she is playing jungle kitty. (She was on a short hiatus from the hit reality television show "Pet Couch".)




We will miss her, but it is for the best. This was Bailey's reaction to the sad news.

Give all your pets an extra squeeze, or maybe even an extra treat or two in memory of Caroline.

I Passed!!!!

No, not a major test, but a kidney stone...Yep, try being 8 months pregnant and passing a kidney stone. I feel completely prepared for labor and delivery now.... Not much has happened lately, Brad and I had our baby shower, and would like to thank everyone for their generosity and support! Here are a few pictures!

My sister got Griffin his first official tie-die onesie....He doesn't even know if he likes the Grateful Dead yet...(but, he will....)

We had a quite an assortment of guests at the shower...and children...in various stages of development......This is Mel trying to watch over everyone...She seems to have it all under control!
This is a picture of Brad and I contemplating our lives after Griffin comes....Do we look anxious, or blissful?

Brad and I are also a part of a community garden...Here is a before picture of the garden...I will post an after picture once everything is planted. There are 6 teams (or ecosquads) of farmers and the spot of land that the garden is on is absolutely beautiful. We are almost done planting, so I will post more once the garden is fully planted!

So, about 6 weeks to go..I will post more frequently now, as I am sure you are all just as anxious as we are! Sorry it has been so long between postings, I will try and do better! Keep us in your thoughts!
