Most of you know that it is scheduled to take place on April 12 @6:30 in Hendersonville. You can easily Mapquest us to obtain driving directions. Our address and phone numbers are listed in the invitations we sent out via mail and email. One caveat to the driving directions obtained from Mapquest is that our street does not have a street sign. So, a good landmark/reminder to be on the lookout for is the Baptist Church. Our street is DIRECTLY across from the church!
Moreover, please bear in mind that you DO NOT have to get a gift-your presence (get it- presence) will suffice; however, if you would like to get a gift we are registered at Target, Babies R Us, and at www.cottontailbaby.com. You can easily access these registries using our last name, or Griffin's due date (June 12th). Just some reminders- Brad and I are going to be using cloth diapers, so please no disposable. Also, we plan on using glass baby bottles, so please no plastic bottles.
For those of you coming from out-of-town, there are several hotels in the Hendersonville area. Be sure to book early because rooms go fast as Hendersonville is a popular vacation spot during the spring months!
Some of you have stated that you are having difficulty posting messages. Be sure and click the comments link after each blog posting!
We hope that you can make it to this not-so-ordinary baby shower. Brad plans on brewing a Baby Brew (not for Griffin, or myself-obviously),and believe me there WILL be food! In short, we would love to share our joy in having a little one with all of our family and friends!
Stay tuned in the months to come....I grow ever larger, and June grows ever closer!

Sorry that the Swann Family will not be able to partake in the baby shower blowout. It's sort of close to our own D-day and I don't think I'll be up for traveling yet. I'm sure Will is salivating thinking about the baby brew. We'll be thinking of you. Take care,
DKS
Hey,
This is Susan. I am going to save my visit for after the baby comes -as my grandmother is celebrating her 90th birthday Saturday. Christa I can't believe how great you look. All belly and that's it. I love you and will be thinking of you - have lots of fun. And to those partaking of the "baby brew" be careful that's usually how baby "brewing" begins - if you know what I mean :) !
