Welcome to the World!
Sorry it has taken so long to post these (almost as long as Griffin's entrance to the world).... Many of you already are aware of the circumstances behind Griff's birth, but for those that are not I will attempt to explain..
I was hospitalized on Tuesday June 9th, because my blood pressure was REALLY high, and my Doctor's decided to induce me because I was so close to my due date. I labored for two days, attempted to push Griff out for 3 hours (yep, 3 hours) and finally had to have a C-Section. Griff was born on June 12th at 4:58 pm and weighed 8 pounds. In the process, I developed a condition called femoral neuropathy, so I not only left the hospital with a beautiful baby, but also a walker, as I lost all feeling in my left leg. I am doing much better, and hope to be walking on my own again soon! Brad definately wins father-of-the year for all the extra work he is doing for me and Griff. Enough...Enjoy the pics
I KNOW...HE IS REALLY CUTE! (even covered in muck!)
Our first family photo...yikes!
Griff doesn't look as happy to be a part of the world, as we are to have him!

We will post more shots now that we are home...Of course we are sleep deprived, and still adjusting, so bear with us....

Congratulations on the birth of Griffin. I hope that you are feeling better. I can't wait to see more pictures as he grows.
you guys are awesome; that baby is so lucky to be yours and you're so lucky to have him--what a beautiful family!
"Griffty McGriff" is a much better name than "Prof. Griff", which is an obvious reference to the leader of Public Enemy's S1Ws. I know how much you all hate redundancy, considering the number of times you refer to P.E. in day-to-day conversation. I guess it would be overkill...
(also, it's great to hear that you guys are doing well)
